Moved this nearer to the front and it's obviously happy to be there ....

I have five of them now, Carol! It's funny as I bought a very dark, plum coloured one years ago in a village open garden sale and didn't really know where to put it, or how big it would get! Then I kept seeing them on GoY and the rest is history ... lol! Get yourself a couple, they're good 'doers'. : o )

I also have about five now. I'm afraid they are bit addictive! I love them because they tolerate shade and...well, they're just so pretty! I got a new one today...Lime Marmalade...a bright green one, so now I don't really need any more!!

Oh Karen, you know once you've started with Heucheras, you just can't stop ... lol! They seem to fit in just about any type of garden, from Cottage to ultra modern. I must stop looking at the ads. for them on the right of the page Did you see the variety 'Silver Scrolls' on Libet's recent blog? It's very pretty. : o )

No I didn't....I shall go and find it. I didn't get Libet's blog on my page.

Its this site that has made us addicted Shirley..and the ads on the right.I saw the one on Libet's blog too,it has lovely foliage.Yours is looking good, now you have moved it..a neighbour gave me one of hers, years ago,I think it is called Red Spangles..and its just always been there, as a gap filler..I must start treating it with the care it deserves, poor thing..and I have two more now, gifted from Cinderella..so my addiction has started !

I moved it closer to the front after Cinders kindly pointed out the foliage of the Geranium & the Aquilegia would cover it in time! If only I could remember to think ahead ... lol! I don't mind being an addict ... only to plants though! : o ))

Karen, dont plant 'lime marmalade' in full sun, mine has burning on the leaves...I'll have to move it....

Yes, I was looking at Plantagogo (Vicky's website) and I noticed that generally, the lighter the leaf, the more shade is required. I have one that has also been scorched, so I've moved it now, but just as well I looked at vicky's site or I wouldn't have realised. I need to move another couple too....wondered why they weren't doing too well! It makes sense when you think of it....less chlorophyll I guess.
