Double amaryllis: "Promise"

This is a very pretty double amaryllis with broad white stripes in the center of the tepals and exquisite red "nerves". The flower stems are very very short. This looks a bit odd to me. But the flowers are gorgeous, without doubt.

A wonderful variety with spectacular color. Interesting that it is so short.
