Planter beware! this can be extremely invasive and spreads under ground and it will pop up everywhere. I would recommend keeping it in a container on feet.

thanks Drc726..ive bought it to hopefully fill a space in front of a derelict barn..there is a small 3ft by 22ft border between the barn and a lawn..ive never had chance to do anything with it, its full of nettles and leaves accumulate in autumn and stuff..i thought if i could get something relatively low that will spread it would work..along with a couple of other low but quick growing bushy shrubs perhaps..

any recommendations would be well appreciated

I've been pulling this up for the past couple of years and it still keeps coming , it should fill your gap nicely but it does like water ... Geraniums would spread quickly as well and wouldn't be any trouble ....

Lamium maculatum - Spotted Dead Nettle would also work to.

I think this is lovely if you have the space and would look good with hardy geraniums. I let some thugs in on my slope because they make good cover in awkward spots.

OOps, I have this, under a cotoneaster, I wonder if it will come up in other places now!

Sadly it will Lulu it travels underground and then pops up everywhere.
