This cactus grows up trees. I see many growing up large trees in many areas of San Diego. I'll have to get some pics soon.

Yep- same time of the year for blooms here also. My neighbor's has been at it the last couple of weeks.

It blooms much earlier here in San Diego. The millions around here start flowering in April. My plant usually starts flowering in June and flowers of-and-on through October. Sometimes it blooms many times throughout summer and fall. It's already flowered 3 times and started flowering last night, again. I haven't taken any pics this year. It has many buds on it right now, though.
