My Dragon fruit cactus has bloomed many times this year. Literally after it blooms it sets new flower buds. Photo taken Oct. 18, 2014.

Thanks! It's a very common vine here. It's grown for it's very nutritious fruit. It has an extremely high anti-oxidant content for a fruit.

Thanks! I suspect I may get more blooms before December. November can be a very hot and dry month (it's the sunniest month of the year statically) for us here in San Diego.

Thanks! :>) It's bloomed so many times this year with all the very hot weather. I tell everyone our summer started in December of 2013 and hasn't ended yet.

How pretty ... I saw Dragon fruit for sale in a supermarket recently ... at £2 ($3.23) each I wasn't tempted to buy one!
