Impatiens glandulifera

meanie

By Meanie

Impatiens glandulifera (Impatiens glandulifera (Himalayan Balsam))

Last year I grew Impatiens glandulifera "Red Wine" and this plant is the result of it self seeding. It couldn't be more different if it tried!
I was going to pull it last week (the foliage is not as good as Red Wine) but I decided to see what the flowers were like first. Good job that I did!
