Yes it is usually hardy Tommymoo, think it was just that really bad winter we had, finished off a few things in my garden that are usually really hardy, lost all except one of my lavaterias !!!!!!!(had about 7 dotted about, grown from cuttings), they're usually tough as old boots, still has made room for a few new shrubs :-), just got to decide what now.
