Have lost the Incarvillea, but the red dragon is still waiting to go in the border, at the moment he is a white dragon a big pigeon plopped all over him!!!

LOL.

Is this in the 'new' bed? I seem to lose Incarvilleas too - couple of years and bye bye.

12 May, 2010

No - the new bed has Persicaria, true, but it's cream, white, lime green and burgundy. Shame about Incarvilleas - they are lovely plants, and not frrely available, I find.

It's very easy from seed, Spritz. I've done that in the past.

13 May, 2010

Do you collect the seeds, or buy new ones, Wagger? If so -where from, please?

13 May, 2010

Well, I know Chiltern Seeds do them - three types of delaveyii, a sinensis and a zhongdianensis. T&M do a couple too. I collected some from plants I had - the pink and the white but that means you forgo any repeat flowering to let the seed set.

Oh, that's good - I have a 'credit' note from them, and their catalogue. I might add these to the list. :-) Thanks.

i have red dragom barbara but may move it, not doing well, not grown one bit, is it a slow grower,

14 May, 2010

You 'are' joking, Sandra! Mine grow like wildfire! They root themselves when the stems touch the soil, too. That's very odd about yours. How long has it been in?

14 May, 2010

i got it early in year and planted when it got warmer but no bigger, just looks the same, its in sunny possition

14 May, 2010

Oh well - once it gets going, you'll have to run to keep up with it, Sandra! lol. Don't move it - they like sun.

14 May, 2010

lol ok thanx barbara ;o)

:-)))) Good luck - patience is needed, probably due to the chilly weather!
