Thats a beaut! Yes do find the name SBG. By the way, I havent forgotten! Just that the Pink Princess is soo slow to get going..the other one is fine, nice clump.

the iris is called Rose pic. yep Pic, i' thought pink but it isnt.

Ive heard of Rosepic..seen it in a few catalogues. Nice to see one in someone's garden tho.

it is a soft beige/pink rather than a clear pink. It will have to be planted as it is too close to the rose & clematis. It wont get enogh sun to bake the rhizome.
the 'Black' is also now almost in shade and hasnt flowered this year. another one to move.

Well move em quick SBG, according to weather forecast for June, its going to be hot and dry (I know, I know, we've heard it all before!) I have a feeling on this occasion they may be right. So all the baking they can take, should make for a glorious sight next year!

I am intrigued both, dont know much about irises, but need to learn. I can see now why mine havent done well - in the wrong place. I shall have to read up on them. At least one has done well (see my pics)
