This was in my garden before I got here and I have no idea of a varietal name, but it is the loveliest pink. I have to admit I haven't ever seen a pink for sale in the nurseries around here either. Lots of whites, reds, oranges and yellows though.

You really lucked out! It's a beautiful variety!
I've seen red, white yellow...although, I've never seen orange. Most people like to plant Pentas instead of Ixora here. They are both in the Rubiaceae (coffee) family...and look very similar, except for the leaves. Pentas varieties are very numerous (dozens) here. I like the two-toned colors.

Yes I'm a Pentas fan too. I have a few varieties of those as well, but my favourite is the pure white.

I've posted many pics of white variety. My favorite is the two-toned pink and white. It has almost a neon-look to the flowers. I like the lavender and purple varieties, also.

What else?
See who else is growing Ixora chinensis.
See who else has plants in genus Ixora.

It's beautiful! I have the Maui Red and Singapore yellow is commonly available. However, I never see the pink for sale here.
