My Elephant's Ear Kalanchoe is more than 6ft/2m tall. Its potential height is 25ft/8m. I purchased this shrub 11 years ago as a very tiny plant. Photo taken Feb. 2, 2012.

Thanks!
Yes, I like this cheap bamboo fencing. It hides the ugly cyclone fence.

Yeap, cheap but it does the job. ;o)

There's a heavier duty bamboo fencing, which is very nice and is much more expensive. I love it! Maybe one day I'll get one.

I know what you mean.....there are some beautiful fencing out there....but I can't afford it!

Meanie:
It's not different, here. I love the big felt-like leaves! :>)
It's a common landscape shrub, which can get quite large.
It's an extremely drought tolerant shrub which is native to Madagascar.

It is a slow growing plant at Kew; they must like your high light levels

Rbtkew:
It's a slow growing shrub in a pot. In the ground I've seen them grow pretty fast...especially with regular summer water.

Oh, I like that...really nice.
That is the type of bamboo I'm going to put up in my garden to hide the chain link fence.
