Part of the new planting on the stream bank - it took twelve Lavender plants to edge it!

I suppose it's a 'sort-of' hedge, but 'Hidcote' isn't tall, so I'm hoping it works. I had a picture in my head of what I wanted, so I'll wait and see now.

I've had a thought this afternoon - I might well extend this kind of planting further along the bank, but the 'Hebe' project has to come first - that is, if this rain ever stops!

We arent having much rain this end Spritz..they keep promising but it hasnt happened..so I dont water and dont water..and now the plants are drooping..the minute I put down the hose after a session I bet you it rains!!!
