The dried flower heads of Sea Lavender

The dried flower heads (ie sead heads) of Sea Lavender, (Useful for flower arrangements if sprayed with hair spray to stop the seed coming off). The flowers are lilac colour in summer.

Thanks Simbad, the bird ornaments are metal from Coopers, the catalogue that comes with other junk mail. I asked for them for my birthday, for around my pond, quite flat though, with an edge on which I cut my finger!
