Lysichiton americanus (Skunk Cabbage) & Kingcup

Horrid name for a fabulous loud plant at the pond's edge and also one in the Bog Garden. The huge leaves are the Lysichiton - the small yellow flowers behind are those of the Kingcup / Marsh Marigold (Caltha palustris)
