Macleaya  (Macleaya cordata (Plume poppy))

Grey/blue leaves of this Macleaya, put into back of garage border. Will grow to 5 ft. ( has a spray of the beige flowers already). From Dd's NGS open day.

Just been potting up some of these all mine in the borders have dwindled away but found some seedlings in the gravel path.5ft Siris they've been nearer 7-8 here!!! ;-)

My plant from years ago, went walkabout next door. They destroyed it. This will have to negotiate the garage!

Dd, think yours must be nearer eight. Such an impressive plant. Took out some Japanese Anemone Queen Charlotte to make space. After flowering reducing Q.C. to one small piece, that is if I get all the roots out.
