Stera - this one gets cut back about every three years when I feel it's getting too tall and leggy. Might have to do it next spring I think.

Amy - it's more a case of when it needs doing. This is an established plant that gets a good 'haircut' and takes three years to 'recover'.

I am going to leave ours for a few years before I prune it severely again, as you say Andrew it does set it back somewhat!
