Oh no. It would take too long for it to root and grown. They sell in 3 or 5 gallons for a low price considering.

Low,but not low enough for something marginal Penny..its about as bad as Crotons here. But at least I have overwintered Crotons before,and have an idea what they really need.
I have other Mandavilla's that are of hybrids sold all over..those are hardy. Got better DNA!

Speaking for the HS caterpillar, I'd say yes! They're so pretty and are sold here as well. I tried to over-winter one as a house plant... it was ok and I planted it out the next summer only to give it away because we were moving.
..don't know where it is now. Have some pics here on GoY back in the archives. lol...
