This mango tree is loaded with mangoes. It is back of a church just south of downtown San Diego, CA. Photo taken August 19, 2009.

I just saw this comment. I think you most likely saw the large mango tree from the street. This one is located in a back court area. I had to ask a nun to lot me in to take pics of these mango trees. There's several in this area.
The original very large mango tree was cut down about a year ago. :>(( It was between a church and a house. In a really bad spot. It used to be loaded with huge mangoes. Not sure which variety it was. It was different from the ones in this court yard.
