mmmmm i thought this one was more creamy... pehaps i am wrong... the other one i have is quite dark pink.. i did'nt think this one was the same.... does'nt matter either way really cream or pink will go in this border...

I did wonder Holly as the other variety of Miscanthus is in full bloom... but when i bought this last winter it had what looked like dead flower spikes on.. and the man in the nursary said that he could'nt remeber the colour of the flowers but he thought it was cream. i looked it up in my RHS and it does'nt say... although this one did have a clear lable with accurate pic Miscanthus sinensis 'Strictus' and it was from a proper nurser not B & Q or anything... and this is not listed at all in the RHS book but there is another vairety listed as M. sinensis 'Zebrinus' AKA Zebra Grass... that looks pretty much the same... so i am wondering if a) just named different but same plant, as we know this sometimes happens depending on grower or b) a different variety all together??? - i'll keep you posted as to weather or not it does flower Holly.
