Got the 'kardinal' variety today, 3 of them in fact. whats the eventual spread of these plants,? i dont have any info cards.

They say they can get quite big and be invasive but I have not found it so. Mine is about 3ftx3ft. What I do find is it is prone to Mildew and needs treating each summer.

thanks, i guess i will plant them in various spots in the border. how do you treat the mildew?

Because it got quite bad last year, I sprayed with a fungicide this year, the mildew does not stop the abundant flowers but it must weaken the plant?
