Narcissus 'Reinveld's Early Sensation'

This daff opened its bud yesterday - December 4th! This is over four weeks earlier than I've ever had one flowering before. Is this a record?

There are daffodils flowering in a garden at Kilve, just along the coast from us (West Somerset). I don't of course know the variety! Your daffodil has the right name, doesn't it! :-)

That depends entirely on the weather. But then I've currently got a weigela flowering for the second time this year and lychnis chalcedonica has already flowered twice

I trolled the net for an answer Andrew and found that a daffodil flowered in Wales in December last year. BUT the date on the photograph is the 7th December so you may have the earliest!!
