Ams - these are usually the first variety to flower for me, often opening before the first snowdrops. This winter, despite the cold autumn, the first one opened on 22nd December but usually it is the first week of January they start flowering here

What a welcome sight - I'm always weeks behind here - something to do with the altitude. I make it sound like the Alps, but it's not really.

I haven't had the pleasure of meeting 'Cedric' but my 'February Gold' are now in flower - renamed 'March Gold'. lol
