Geranium bloom

Geranium bloom (pelargonium hortorum)

A step back, of the "rocky mountain" geranium oddity. No compact little bunch like one would expect.

Yours is a very healthy little beauty.
I think it may belong to the Angel group of pelargoniums,
certainly not an oddity!
There are numerous pelargonium groups, this website descibes them:

Why not take a look and see if you agree? :-)

This is the regular geranium, "rocky mountain". This flower didn't form the compact head, it sprouted and had more single flower bunches. I do love those angel pelargoniums....:-)

What else?

This photo is of species pelargonium hortorum.

See who else has plants in genus Pelargonium.

This photo is of "Geranium 'Rocky Mountain Red'" in Greenthumb's garden
