All of the Durantas here were planted before we arrived and they had grown into rather large trees by the time Yasi arrived. They're all now little stumps around a metre in height, but nearly all of them have bright green new growth and some have started flowering. Two are still stumps. They did have new growth on them early on but that shrivelled during the dry. We'll see if they come back during the wet season. We also have some trimmed into a hedge they never look as good for some reason.

Most of the beauties I shown this evening are all in pots, Marguerite. The trees and shrubs out in the garden beds are still looking terrible. Since Yasi of course, it's been the dry season which is not the best time for a speedy recovery. In the end I only lost a couple of Durantas but everything is still looking pretty stunted and poorly!
