About three feet but is hard pruned in the spring

When I grew it in Las Cruces, it got 4 to 5 ft, and pretty floppy. Folks here in OR said theirs were huge, so I confined it to a pot this year & it doesn't seem to have grown a'tall...not dead yet. Also growing a pink one, more heart shaped leaves, just a fuzzy rosette at present.
