Pieris "Forest Flame"

I used to have two of these but they both died within a couple of months of each other. I have no idea why though.

Did you have them in all the conditions they require?
They are quite fussy plants, but once they are in the right place they are
well worth growing. I would say, one plant can just die without any
reason, just bad luck, but having two die, there has to be something
wrong somewhere.......It is a shame though, looking at this one it looks
in the best of health!!

In dry times, I water my Pieris Forest Flame with rain water, not tap water..
My Pieris is one I inherited from my mother's garden and has adapted well, and I even managed to get a cutting started from it, and planted that in the front garden.
I agree with Freesiaperson they seem to be a bit fussy about where they like to grow...
