Grandmage:

Yes, this Plumeria species has shiny paddle-shaped leaves. This Plumeria is also the most tropical of all...as it is an evergreen tree (although in San Diego is loses some of its leaves every Winter).

Meanie:

It's my favorite Plumeria. In my opinion it has the sweetest fragrance of any Plumeria flower.

I've had this little tree for 12 years...if it were in the ground it probably would be 18 feet / 5.5 meters tall by now.

Milky:

Thanks! However, no need to be jealous. This year this Plumeria is blooming very late due to the coolest July in 100 years in San Diego. Our hi/lo have only been averaging hi/ 26C and low/18C... a good 10 -12 degrees below normal (that's inland). in downtown San Diego it's been cooler. Maybe August will bring us our typical hot and muggy weather.
