Plumeria unknown pink variety - Plumeria tree

This Plumeria tree had several flowers...even though they can't been seen in this photo. It's unusual to see this Plumeria tree with so many leaves this time of year. Typically it would be 50% defoliated by now. Many of the Plumeria trees around San Diego are still holding most of their leaves. Photo taken Dec. 31, 2010.

The weather this year has definitely been one for the record books: cooler than normal cloudy spring, summer; colder than normal fall, extreme flooding, record high heat at the beginning of November and December! What's next? :>/
Most of my Plumeria trees in pots are still losing their leaves now...my large Plumeria in the ground still has most of its though. Very crazy!

this has been a crazy year for my plumeria's too!!! mine just started to loose all its leaves after those colds nights after christmas.
