This is one of many thousands of plumeria trees which grow on Coronado Island, CA. Photo taken Oct. 16, 2013.

They don't usually grow this large in a pot. I have many plumerias. My largest is 11 ft (3.5m) tall and 12ft (4m) wide and it's in the ground. The ones I have in pots stay much smaller.

Plumeria are very common here in San Diego, there's so many varieties. Some varieties are dwarf and other become trees. Most are very easy to grow from cuttings.

My Plumeria seeds have just germinated and are about 4cms high, do you think I will live long enough to see mine like this ? Beautiful tree.
