My Plumeria 'Hilo Beauty' is blooming again. It bloomed originally in spring and the full bloom was in July. I think the 88ºF (31ºC) weather yesterday really initiated the blooms. Photo taken Nov. 2, 2013.

Thanks! :>)
More flowers should be opening, as the weather is warm.

Is this the same dark bud I've been waiting for, I thought it was going to be much darker, Roy.

This is pretty much as dark as you can get with a plumeria flower. It's a black-red.
Did you check out the photos above when it was in full bloom during July?

Thank-you Delonix1 I was expecting one a bit darker but its still beautiful , and I'm still jealous Roy.

I think you looking for a scarlet-colored plumeria. There's many varieties of plain red available. Hawaiian red is a really nice one. I used to have a Hawaiian red plumeria tree, but sold it. I have it posted somewhere on GoY.
If you do a search for Plumeria on GoY you'll see my many hundreds of photos. :>)
