Polygala, probably myrtifolia, label mislaid. An evergreen shrub which will tolorate dry conditions.

It is in the ground now in this position, should add a bit of winter colour to a dull fence. Quite dry here because the stem to the left is a large deciduous shrub, a purple leaved Cotinus.
