Potentilla megalantha

Potentilla megalantha (Potentilla megalantha)

It's in flower now - a lovely bright colour - the flowers close when the sun goes away.

It's quite a low-growing plant, and I love the colour, Amy. That is - when I can see it! ;-))

Is this herbaceous or woody type Spritz? Ive got reds, orange and peach, all herb., but not a yellow one. Does it make reasonable growth?

It's herbaceous, although there do seem to be a few leaves there...??? It may have been affected by the cold, so I'll keep an eye on it this year, always supposing it survives!

Methinks I will look around for this!

I'm trying to think where it came from. It'll come to me, Tetra.
