they look lovely - did your palm survive the winter OK? I haven't unwrapped my tree ferns yet - I was tempted yesterday - but better leave them for a while. Funny we chose a similar name for ourselves on this site!!!

Hi MZ, no, the palm did not survive unfortunately. It was only in the garden for 2 years and it's been really good, but this winter weather did it no favours whatsoever. The 'fronds' went brown then snapped, so I cut them off, the trunk is still in there, I'm hoping it may come back to life.....a big hope though. I may take a peek at the weekend and see if there's any sign of life.
