Damson Tree in Blossom 04.08

Xela

By Xela

Damson Tree in Blossom 04.08 (Prunus insititia (Vistabile))

When I bought th house in 2000 the fence was taller than the damson tree. It had been planted between two almond trees (which were sadly dead) Now the damson overhangs the public footpath the other side of the fence. It looks lovely in the Spring but in the Autumn the over-ripe fruit can make a bit of a mess on the footpath.

What else?

See who else is growing Prunus insititia (Vistabile).

See who else has plants in genus Prunus.

This photo is of "Damson" in Xela's garden
