Hi Drc726, my tree's name is Prunus 'Hessei'...the fruits are edible...I have just tasted one...very juicy and sweet...felt weird eating it though...I have more on the tree, but I may leave it to the birds... :)))

A lot of my fruit cam down in the wind so I put them on the bird table and there they stay lol!
