Rhododendron Sir Charles Lemon

Sir Charles Lemon is a natural hybrid; seed x pollen=
R. arboreum ssp cinnamomeum x R. campanulatum ssp campanulatum.

I bought it for the plant appearance. It is a large specimen, not suitable for small gardens. The backside of the leaf has the colour as in the picture and the new growth is interesting as well. The flowers are white.
