This Castor Bean tree has a really nice shape, for a weed tree. It appears it get trimmed back annually. Photo taken in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA. on Oct. 15, 2011.

Yes, it's a weed tree here. It pops up everywhere, even along the freeways in asphalt.

Tree??? I've never seen a ricinus this big. It's a TREE!! Mine dies out in winter and self-seeds in the following spring.
