This only grows into a large shrub (eight feet or so), not a tree. Mine had got to six feet, trained against the trellis, and then all robinias got hit by disease a few years ago and it died. But I must have left a bit of root when I dug it out because its starting to grow again

Andrew Thanks for that,it must be a different to the one i saw growing in a private garden locally it had same colour flowers and typical leaves.
I lost my golden one about 5 years ago that was twenty + years old although I have read they are not long lived trees

Andrew how big and how old is it ,I think I have seen them as Specimen trees certainly lovely flowers
