Rodgersia in the shady conservatory border, a large plant with large leaves like Horse Chestnut. Left hand piece has outgrown its space.

I love the architectural form of it. I have it in a couple of places in large clumps. The flower spike is an extra bonus.

There are 3 plants in this border which must be downsized, this, a lythrum salicaria and Sum and Substance Hosta, all have revelled in the damp this year.

Love them. I have one in a pot which had two flower spikes until my daughter's dog snapped one off. ?

The leaves are absolutely enormous, it's a wonder they are not top heavy in a pot.

Had one for many years, but it has never ever flowered...noticed two more in the bog garden, took some of the Gunnera leaves off, amazing what was growing underneath........OH flipping heck it is absolutely chucking it down!! again.

I had mine on the pond edge and I nearly lost it - too let I think that's why it ended up in the pot. Yes, the leaves are huge. Maybe your's needs more light then DD, mine flowers every year.
The gunnera have loved all the rain mine are HUGE this year.

I don't think you have the space to get the full potential out of your Gunnera, Dd.
