They look a lot less healthy than they did over the summer but they just keep popping up, I think I'm supposed to cut them back now?

Louise is right - half-prune it now, to avoid wind-rock, then give it a hard prune in early spring...and a feed and mulch, as well.

You can use a proprietary rose fertilizer in spring, Numbaten, or blood, fish and bone, or Vitax...or, if you can get it, good, well-rotted horse manure, which it will just LOVE!

You could prune that rose down a bit now as it's got a bit 'leggy', it'll give it some 'oomph' to rejuvenate it for next year too !
