Its a bit like why do they say the French are romantic when they are practical, feet on the ground people, and quite unsentimental! Tho I must admit their roses are romantic looking lol!

Daisy, I missed the question. No scent to speak of - it seems to vary from plant to plant apparently. At least it doesn't have many thorns.
