You can hard-prune this, and it won't object. I've got one, and I don't like it too big.

If you don't prune it, you finish up with one like I had removed from my 'Bit On The Side"!

The twisted Hazel is slower growing, bit more expensive to buy.

I got a tiny one a couple of years ago from Morrison's for £3.99 - then saw the same size at B&Q for £8.99, and £12.99 at the GC!!!!
I was very pleased with myself that day! :-)))
