There are loads of berries on this plant. I wonder why the birds don't eat them. They are certainly juicy..

Funny you should say that but I have Sarcococca ruscifolia and have berries on mine all the time and the birds don't touch them. It was discussed at our Flower Club a couple of years ago that the birds leave the berries of Nandina domestica alone too. I'm still waiting for berries on mine, Nandina I mean, as it's only a couple of feet high so I can't comment yet.
