Silver Dust

Silver Dust (Senecio cineraria (Senecio))

I think this is Silver Dust but I'm not sure as that is supposed to be an annual. This has done well for a good few years and you can see where I've trimmed it right back. It has taken a knock from the frost, so I need to see if it recovers or not. I hope so, it has lovely velvety leaves.

I find they go straggly over the years.

Thanks Hywel that's good to know, do you think it's best to replace it? It doesn't seem to grow from the woody bits that are left and I do like it.

I used to replace them after a few years because they tended to get unsightly and die off. If it grows back into a nice bush I'd keep it though.

What else?

See who else is growing Senecio cineraria (Senecio).

See who else has plants in genus Senecio.
