Appears in the garden in a different place every year, luckily this time it is at the back of the border....

thistles are usually a pest in the garden but the cultivated ones are lovely and attract the insects. The finches like the seeds.

That is why we grow them we used to have a lovely teasel but not seen it for a few years.....

that's a shame Dotty. I like teasels, and after drying and spraying a colour, look nice in flower displays.
