No, Bathgate, mine doesn't have any scent to it that I can detect. Although it looks a bit similar it doesn't twine, it's more like a shrub that ages into a small tree. It's a native of New Zealand.

This looks very much like South Carolina Jasmine - Gelsemium sempervirens. Does it have a wonderful smell?
