Thanks! The flower is beautiful...usually the leaves are also...however, the snails are eating them.

Snails and slugs, the things I think all gardeners have in common. They are beautiful leaves though, minus the snail marks.

Thanks! Yes, you're correct...the snails and slugs are murder here. It's almost impossible to get rid of them.

wow- thats very beautiful. Thats the first I've seen it outdoors in California. Nobody ever mentions that but me! ( Mauna Loa)..about giant leaved Spaths.

It's funny, because even though the leaves would get eaten up by snails the flowers always looked very good.
This lady had so many Spathiphyllum growing around her property, it was amazing! Most of her watering came from the washing machine.

My Spathiphyllum 'Sensation" is blooming for the first time this year. Photo taken July 24, 2009.
