Spathodea campanulata - African Tulip Tree Flowers

This would look lovely in our tropical garden!!

It would definitely fit your garden. This tree is native to the equatorial tropical rain forest of Africa...particularly the Congo region.

It easily grows in a large pot and flowers well, also.

It's worth the clean up. I always say that about the 50' (15m) tall Jacaranda tree in my front yard. (which is flowering now).

Your Jacaranda sound nice I shall watch out for it.

There's millions of Jacaranda trees here in San Diego. It's one of the most beloved trees planted here. They're in full bloom, now. They start flowering in late March or early April through June...then a smaller bloom in early Fall.

How wonderful for it to be all over San Diego must be pretty.

Most cities in Southern California are called the "Blue" cities. Because it's blue with the flowers of Jacaranda trees. The San Francisco Bay Area has many millions of Jacaranda trees, also.

Yes, they're light to dark blue or even purple. It's very widely used as a street and park tree.
