hummm Powderbrush... If i understood it properly you are thinking i have those in my balcony... unfortunatelly i dont... they are trees from the streets in our city... and yes my balcony is a jungle :) I'll update a picture of my private jungle... its growing ...!!!

Hi Aleyna, great to see you back, hope office move not to hectic. I think I have identified your tree. Check out my info on google images for a match. My reference source suggests to me this is: Spathodea campanulata formerly Bignonia tulipifera. Though of African origin has apparently become naturalised in Latin America. Common names include:
Africa Tulip-Tree, Tulipan africano and Espatodea. Your calling it 'The Honey Tree' provided the clue to its I.D as this is a description from my reference source 'The calyx secretes a sugary watery nectar which pollinating birds feed upon' Hope this helps you, best wishes Dioon11

Yes I agree Dioon11 it looks very much like the African Tulip Tree we have here in Oz - I recognize those pods that split apart and those brilliant orange flowers.
