Nice small blue flowers. Funny thing is? When it flowered as a smaller plant- those flowers were tiny. These are like Campanula's dont you think?

I would take the flower spikes off. The plants decline very quickly after flowering. I grew them a long time. I would always take the flowers off so they would live a long time (5 years).

It didn't take long..somebody sneaked all the way up my driveway and snatched a large stem- branch.
You know, the last person I heard knocking on that side door..were door to door proselytizers who I have told my wife have no business on our property if I don't answer the front door. I was watching football and just took a quick look out a window at who wouldn't go away.
Now,I see that missing.

Stan,
Sorry to hear that some took a branch. That's always disheartening! I've had that happen so many times. I have locks on all three gates in the front yard. The wall around the front yard is pretty short; however, it keeps people out.

What else?
See who else is growing Strobilanthes dyerianus (Persian shield).
See who else has plants in genus Strobilanthes.
